BRIEF-

670 square metre refit of 2 commercial floors. Remove and make good the existing offices and creating 2 fully designed and refurbished office spaces. New Kitchen, Main Boardroom, Training and Presentation rooms, Offices and 30 new workstations.

WHAT WAS DELIVERED-

The project was divided into 2 stages over the 2 floors while Mitsubishi staff were operational. The first floor completed includes new soundproof plasterboard walls, slimline glass partitions with black aluminium. Floor to Ceiling in built storage, Glass entry doors and special joinery for Kitchen and break out areas. The second floor includes sound proof training and conference facilities, custom workstations for 30 staff.

HOW KARTER ADDED VALUE-

Mitsubishi were in the midst of a brand refresh at the time of the fitout – Karter suggested changing the silver aluminium glass wall door jams and hardware to black powdercoat to fit in with there corporate brand guideline. The client was happy with the overall outcome. A simple, low cost and effective change.

BRIEF-

Complete Fit out of 350 square metre office to include Reception, Boardroom for 8, Large meeting room, 4 x spacious offices, 22 Workstations, Kitchen, 2 x Bathrooms, Comms room and Storage.

WHAT WAS DELIVERED-

A well designed, modern, light filled and inviting office environment for 30 staff. Beautifully appointed Reception with 3 metre ceiling, stone floor tiles and stone reception desk with timber and polyurethane panelling. Light filled Boardroom with Tassie Oak Boardroom table with built in power and data box for 8, fabric designer chairs and feature lighting. Meeting rooms and offices with acoustic paneling for sound insulation and glass fronts and aluminum framed doors. Designer Kitchen with stone benchtop, break out bench and incorporated LED lighting. 2 x Bathrooms with high end chrome fixtures and stone tiling. Comms room was incorporated into a Cupboard to maximise space. 22 Workstations with pale grey acoustic 1200 mm high fabric screens providing additional privacy. Custom built storage built to clients specification.

HOW KARTER ADDED VALUE-

The client had very specific storage needs which Karter incorporated into the design phase by using special joinery as partition walls. This maximized space and also ensured storage was well hidden. The comms room was originally designed to be situated in a separate room however Karter suggested to build the comms rack into a cupboard once again a space saving design feature which client is happy with. The Acoustic plasterboard has enabled the Boardroom, meeting rooms and single offices to be sound proof which with the companies business was important. Another design feature the client loves is the Whiteboard paint which enables staff to brainstorm and simply rub off. Overall a stunning office being enjoyed by the team.

SNAP ON TOOLS

BRIEF-

400 square metre fit out of newly leased office space to include Boardroom for 10, 2 x Meeting rooms, 2 x partitioned offices, 20 workstations and Comms room for a global brand.

WHAT WAS DELIVERED-

Spaciously designed sleek Boardroom with custom built timber table for 10 and black leather chairs. We built and installed AV equipment for conference call facilities. Sound proof insulation built into meeting rooms to provide privacy for calls and meetings for max 5 people. Executive partitioned offices with Glass fronts providing light and a spacious feel. The workstations for 20 were set up in divisions of 4 people per working pod.

HOW KARTER ADDED VALUE-

A Blank canvas and a 400 square metre tenancy with the Karter design allowed plenty of space for the 25 staff. The clients branding was incorporated by using there colour palette of Red, White and Black in the workstation screens and powder coating frames. A nice touch the clients liked suggested by Karter was utilizing their logo as a frosted band for the Glass Boardroom and Partitioning of Offices and meeting rooms.

BRIEF-

Removing 8 existing offices into 12 sound proof offices with the electric height adjustable desks. Work was to be completed out of normal office working hours.

WHAT WAS DELIVERED-

Removal of existing offices and flooring with new carpet, ceilings, walls and 12 sound proof offices with glass partitioning and doors creating a fresh modern design. Power, data and communication rack was replaced with CAT6 data. Electronic height adjustable office desks with sound proof workstation screens providing comfort and privacy.

HOW KARTER ADDED VALUE-

The key to this fitout was ensuring the staff were still operational and happy whilst the works were in progress and completed out of hours. The client was most impressed with the quality of contractors ensuring the site was clean for staff to work each day of the build and refit.

PELOTON SHAREHOLD SERVICES, PITT STREET SYDNEY

BRIEF-

Turn 180 m2 of prime city office space to include Reception, Large Boardroom, small meeting room, 3 individual offices and 10 person workstation hub.

WHAT WAS DELIVERED-

Modern, streamlined, open plan office with acoustic ceilings. All white reception foyer with Black wideline aluminium glazing frame and glass sliding doors to maximize space. 12 person customized timer veneer boardroom table, designed with built in power and data outlets completed with Black leather height adjustable chairs. Office furniture within the glass offices including multiple storage. 10 person custom built trading desk workstations with built in soft wiring for power and data.

HOW KARTER ADDED VALUE-

The clients business required a premium feel that also met within the 3 directors budget and style. Karter’s design and choice of furnishings and fittings provided the client with a high end office feel that came in on budget. The clients expectations were excelled and they have had many compliments on there office design.

THE CONSULTING SPACE, GEORGE STREET, SYDNEY

BRIEF-

To open up 80 m2 of office and include glass boardroom whilst not compromising city scape . Works to be undertaken whilst office occupied and business as usual.

WHAT WAS DELIVERED-

Demolition of 3 offices to provide open plan allowing room to include a glass partitioned boardroom. Opened up office to feel more spacious and inviting. The boardroom with glass partitioning with frosting at sitting height provides privacy for meetings with the consultants and there clients in an overall now open plan office environment. Of course  not compromising the lovely city vista.

HOW KARTER ADDED VALUE-

After demolition of the 3 existing offices Karter suggested client could increase the size of the glass boardroom and include frosting at sitting height to ensure privacy however keep the city views. Initial plan was a smaller boardroom and full glass boardroom however the client and consultants are now very happy with the boardroom size and the light that the overall plan has delivered to there new office environment.

EDGAR WILD, BOURKE STREET, ALEXANDRIA

BRIEF-

Warehouse convert 100 m2 to provide a boardroom and office to divide the space.

WHAT WAS DELIVERED-

After consultation with the client of requirements and budget Karter delivered Black Aluminium with Glass partitions to divide the space and keep in line with the Modern Warehouse feel of the building.

HOW KARTER ADDED VALUE-

Client initially wanted a product that was very expensive and not conducive to the space. Karter provided a different product that achieved the clients objectives and design aesthetic however met their budget.
